National Dawn chorus  day—on the hilltop at 5.30 am BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY MAY 7

Last time we did this it was raining, and even so about 8 of us turned up for the magic of the early morning birdsong.  You’ll be ready for that coffee when you get home.

PHRA walking group at Nonsuch Park  on Sunday May 13

We have just enjoyed our first walk together—on Roundshaw Down.  The next walk will be at Nonsuch Park.  Children and dogs welcome.  Put it in your diary now and turn up on the day.  The group plans to do a different walk every few weeks throughout the year.

PHRA Picnic on the green Sunday September 16th

We haven’t had too much luck with the weather and clashes with other events in recent years, so this year we are going for a September date.  Do come and join the fun, and maybe bring food to share.

Phra Photography display

We are hoping to set up a photography exhibition in Norbury Library later this year.  Details of how to submit pictures will follow when we have established a date, but you might as well start snapping local views and events straight away.  We are hoping from entries from children as well as adults

LITTER clean-ups on the hilltop

Twice a year, we spend a couple of hours picking up litter on the hilltop.  It’s more fun than it sounds, and litter-picking equipment and hot drinks are provided.  We also participate in the Love Norbury litter picks on London Road.
